Senior Team's Woes Coninue

The Senior Team took one on the chin last night losing to the Columbia Angels 12-0 in five innings. Down to only six original players, due to the untimely Barry Dean Invitational (AlaBCA Showcase) with seemingly floating dates now, the Bombers struggled to put anything together. With pitcher's on recovery days and others gone, Austin Freeman ate innings for the team allowing others to recover for today's game to close out the tournament at 1:40 PM. Unfortunately it came against a team that likely was the best hitting team they have faced all year according to Coach Shrout.

A grateful and heartfelt appreciation goes out to the six original players and fill ins that helped us meet our obligation at this tournament. It is unfortunate that the 50-60 scouts and college coaches present were unable to see the team at its best. Hopefully they were able to see the talent and skills showcased by our players.
