Scout Team Falls Short 5-4 Against Midwest Prospects

In a game that ended at almost 1:00 AM, the Bombers lost a heartbreaker. Both teams fought hard but in the end the Midwest Prospects from Missouri came out on top. Alex Guilford got the start on the mound going 5-2/3 strong innings. AJ Gomez came in with runners on in the 6th and stopped the missouri bats. The Bombers had a last inning rally, but with a runner at 3rd and 1 out the Prospects closer shut the door. In the game David Pyle, Robby Campbell, and Garrett Pitts had doubles. Pyle, Pitts and Aaron Haag had multi-hit games. The Scout team will bounce back today at 4:00 PM against Building Champions out of Kansas.
