After a blazing start the Scout Team has hit a skid dropping two more games yesterday. The two losses drop their overall record to 16-5 and 2-4 for the tournament.
Nashville Yankees - 7 Bama Bombers Scout - 2
Robert Price took the loss on the hill for the Bombers pitching four innings. A. J. Gomez pitched three innings in relief. According to coaches the team left a lot of runners on base and swung at a lot of bad pitches.
Cape Girardeau Legends - 10 Bama Bombers Scout - 5
Gavin McNatt took the loss on the hill for the Bombers. According to coaches the plate discipline was better, but unfortunately the team had a lot of hard hit "at 'em" balls. One bad inning cost the team with a couple of throwing errors that led to a big inning for the Legends.
The team plays again today at 4:00 PM against the Ontario Blue Jays to wrap up play in Memphis and head home.
